The bar is located behind the railing along the sides of the House and Senate chambers, which separates the chamber floor and the side aisle. Only legislators and certain legislative staff may occupy the bar and only invited guests and staff may occupy the side aisles. The press is allowed both within the bar (in the press area) and in the side aisles.
