Kata consists of narrow roads lined with shops, restaurants, dive shops, pubs and hotels. Divided into Kata yai and Kata noi (large and little bay), Kata Beach is a stretch of clean sand located on the southern area of Karon. From Karon, it takes about 15 minutes to reach Patong Beach with on a slow motorbike ride. You can find vibrant nightlife and entertainment outlets in Patong Beach. Photos:
