The Franklin Hotel is one of those rare gems you want to keep all to yourself. An oasis in the middle of New York City, The Franklin boasts of no more than 49 rooms on 9 floors. Upon arrival each guest is greeted with a warm smile, courteous service and a cocktail. Mornings begin with the complimentary breakfast. In the evenings, guests unwind and gather with some wine and imported cheeses, also compliments of the Franklin.

Home-Away-From-Home is the best way to describe the rooms at the Franklin Hotel. Intimatley adorned with European style antique beds wrapped in 100% Egyptian cotton linens, down pillows and comforters, a good night's sleep is inescapable.

A sumptuous complimentary European-inspired Breakfast Buffet is available to all guests in the charming and cozy lounge. The buffet includes delicacies ranging from freshly baked muffins and scones, to a variety of meats and cheeses, yogurts and granolas.

We also offer a complimentary wine and cheese reception for hotel guests Monday-Friday from 5:00-6:30 pm in the lounge, inclusive of assorted fine wines and champagnes accompanied by an array of fabulous gourmet cheeses. The wine and cheese reception is a chance to get to know fellow hotel guests or simply unwind after a busy day of museums and shopping.

The Franklin Hotel is located in Manhattan's Upper East Side, between Lexington Avenue and Third Avenue at 87th Street. It's just a short walk to the Metropolitan, Whitney, Cooper-Hewitt, Jewish and Frick Museums, Doyle's, Sotheby's and Christie's Auction Houses and Central Park.

There is nearby parking available across the street from the hotel at CRC Parking, 169 East 87th Street NY, NY 10128. There is also parking located adjacent to the hotel at Alan Garage 154 East 87th Street, NY, NY 10128.

Subway Information:

4, 5, or 6 Train to 86th Street stop

The closest subway station is located at 87th Street and Lexington Avenue, around the corner from the hotel. The No. 4, 5 and 6 subway lines provide local and express service. Bus service is available on Fifth, Madison, Lexington, Third and Second Avenue. Crosstown service is available on 86th Street.

East 79th, 86th and 97th Streets have direct access to central Park West via transverse roads through Central Park. The East River Drive, a major limited service highway has access points at 65th, 73rd, 79th and 96th Streets.
