The Iroquois New York
   The hotel is a luxurious retreat with the style and manner of an elegant private mansion. On a tree-lined sidewalk, the original 1923 French limestone facade has been completely restored. A pair of five-foot-tall brass carriage lamps framing double mahogany front doors. The welcoming limestone-and-granite lobby is decorated with a gleaming grandfather clock and an enormous spray of fresh-cut flowers.
