   The Glenn Hotel, the first boutique hotel in Downtown Atlanta, is a meld of Manhattan sophistication, South Beach sex appeal and Atlanta's own southern charm, giving rise to a unique personality. Other information
The Glenn Building dates back to 1923, when it was built for office space. Named after the mayor of Atlanta at the time, John T. Glenn, the building was constructed following the installation of the Spring Street viaduct. The Glenn was built to be part of a larger complex of office buildings; however the other buildings in the complex were never completed and The Glenn building stood vacant for years. In the early 1980s, the Glenn building was bought by the Federal Reserve Bank. Later Philips Arena purchased the building from the Federal Reserve Bank and sold it to Legacy Properties. Photos:

The Lobby Bar offers hotel guests and visitors both traditional seating as well as relaxing alternatives - and, of course, the best drinks in town. Venture upward and you'll find the Rooftop Bar at the Glenn Hotel, the first of its kind in Atlanta. Situated in Downtown Atlanta at the intersection of Marietta and Spring Streets. The Glenn Hotel is located next to the CNN Center, Philips Arena, Georgia Dome, and Georgia Bar and within walking distance to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park as well as the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coke. The Glenn is ideally located for the business and leisure traveler visiting Atlanta.

From March 24, 2008 breakfast is available and provided through the new restaurant Maxim Prime at a charge. **When booking more than 7 rooms, different cancellation policies may apply**
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. Up to two children under 16 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 15 % Tax is not included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
