The Lansdowne Hotel

With a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, this elegant Regency property is the oldest hotel in the heart of fashionable Royal Leamington Spa’s town centre.

Within walking distance of the town’s Royal Priors shopping centre, the Lansdowne Hotel has a great central location. With the hotel as a comfortable base you can visit local tourist attractions including Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Compton Verney Art Gallery, Jephson Gardens, Pump Rooms, Coventry Cathedral and Coventry Transport Museum. Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, is also within easy reach, as are many other historic towns and villages. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the bowling green, a few minutes’ drive from the National Agriculture Centre (NAC) and about half an hour’s journey from the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).

With just 14 en suite rooms, the hotel offers a warm and personal welcome, and features a sitting room with cable TV.

By Public Transport
Birmingham New Street train station is 19 miles/30 km away, and Leamington Spa station is 0.6 miles/1 km away. The nearest coach/bus station is 1 mile/1.6 km away at Leamington.

By Car
From the M1:
- Get off the M1 at junction 17, and get on the M45.
- The M45 shortly becomes the A45. Stay on the A45 until you reach the A445 on your left.
- Take the A445 towards Leamington. Go through Ryton, Dunsmore and Bubbenhall.
- On approaching Leamington, the A445 will turn into Leicester Lane.
- At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit: Leicester Lane.
- At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit: Lilington Road.
- At the next 2 roundabouts, go straight over onto Lilington Road.
- On arriving in the town, go straight on at the traffic lights into Clarendon Street.
- The hotel is at the junction of Clarendon Street and Warwick Street, at the green building opposite Bar44.

From the M6:
- Go to the end of the M6 and get on the M1 towards London.
- Get off the M1 at junction 16, and join the A45 towards Daventry.
- Get on the A425 towards Southam and Leamington.
- At Southam, join the A423 toward Bandury for a short distance in order to get on the A425 again.
- Once in Leamington, follow signs for the town centre. These should take you to Warwick Street.
- The hotel is at the junction of Warwick Street and Clarendon Street, at the green building opposite bar44.

The cancellation policy for group bookings of over 7 rooms is 80 percent of the total amount (2-5 days before arrival). If you try to cancel less than 2 days before your arrival you will be charged the full amount.
