The Gladwyn is ideally situated opposite Devonshire Park and just around the corner from the Devonshire Theatre, the Congress Theatre, the Winter Gardens and the new arts centre. The Gladwyn is a short walk to the town's shops and the beach. Photos:

The Gladwyn is ideally situated for a variety of local attractions including parks, gardens, museums, art galleries and the beach with its sweeping sea front and 3-tier promenade. The pier, dating back to the 1870s and featuring £2.5 million worth of illuminations, is complemented by the Sovereign Harbour which has been turned into one of the most up to date marinas in Europe.
The coastline is an area of outstanding beauty and the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head include a walkers route along the cliff tops. Close by are the charming villages of Alfriston, Wilmington and East Dean as well as Drusillas Zoo, Polegate Windmill, Michelham Priory, Pevensey Castle, Newhaven Fort and the resorts of Brighton and Hastings.
On Foot:
