The Pend

Dunkeld sits by the banks of the River Tay amid stunning scenery. It is about 12 miles (19.2 km) from Perth. Outdoor activities can be organised. The Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel’s leisure facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room, multi-gym, tennis, croquet, putting and archery. Massage, beauty treatments and sun beds are also available. There are lovely walks through the 199 acres of hotel grounds which also hosts 4x4 wheel driving, Europe's largest 12-bore shooting range, salmon fishing and mountain-bike hire. Photos:
Breakfast is served when you like it, within reason! If you are on a half-board rate, a 4-course table d'hôte dinner starts at 19:30. Dietary needs can be catered for if The Pend is informed in advance. Photos:
Finding us is easy. Dunkeld is on the A9 about 12 miles north of Perth and 12 miles south of Pitlochry. If you are travelling by car, turn off the A9 at Dunkeld and take the 2nd right into Brae Street after crossing the bridge (the first right is immediately over the bridge). The Pend is 30 yards up the hill on the right.
A credit or debit card is required as a guarantee. No deposit is taken from the card. However, if the booking is cancelled or reduced within 7 days of arrival and the room(s) is/are not relet, your credit/debit card will be charged with the full amount of the booking.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 3 to 11 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 15 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wired internet is available in the business centre and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.
