The Ahmet Efendi Evi is a newly modernised and refurbished guest house. All the rooms are large and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Family rooms are available with a double bed, private sitting room, sofa bed, TV and private shower. Photos:
The hotel is situated in the heart of Istanbul, in what is known as the Cankurtaran area. This is one of the oldest and most authentic areas of Sultanahmet. Here it seems as if time has come to a stop, with centuries old houses still standing, adding beauty and charm to the both ancient and cosmopolitan town. Major attractions such as the well known Bleu Mosque, Hagia Sofia, the Grand Bazaar, the Egyptian Spice Market, the Topkapi Palace are only a 15 minute walk away.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 8 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.
