The 2-star Hotel Palacios is currently in the process of being converted into a 3-star hotel. To this end, the hotel was fully renovated in 2005 and now offers modern comforts and facilities in all of the rooms, the restaurant, the cafeteria and the lounge.

There is a vending machine in the cafeteria, which is available for guests’ use. Tickets for the nearby Senda Viva zoo and theme park, with all of its rides and attractions, are available from reception.

The hotel can also help arrange visits to nearby vineyards and wine cellars, as well as wine tastings. The hotel also has its own private wine cellar.

The hotel is located on Alfaro’s main access road and on the Camino del Ebro de Santiago. The superb access to the region’s major road network means the hotel is a great base for those visiting the area on business or those exploring the area as tourists. The cities of Logroño (72 km), Zaragoza (95 km), Soria and Pamplona are all within easy reach and guests can explore all of the region’s history, gastronomy and art with the hotel as a convenient, comfortable base.

The Colegiata of San Miguel, famous for its colony of white storks, is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The Senda Viva zoo and theme park with all of its rides and attractions is just 15 minutes by car from the hotel.

By car (from Zaragoza – Logroño – Bilbao – Santander – Madrid – Barcelona):

-Take the AP68 motorway and turn off at exit 'Alfaro'.
-Carry on towards ‘Centro ciudad’ (city centre) for 3 km.

-Alternatively: take 232 road into the city centre.
