The hotel is just 300 metres from Piazza di Spagna and Rome’s famous Spanish Steps, which run from the piazza to the Trinitá dei Monti church. During May, half of the steps are covered with azaleas. The steps become a beautiful flower market at that time of year and are also a delightful spot to enjoy lunch.

By car:
From any point of the Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A) reachable by all highways, follow the signs to Roma centro. The area around the hotel is restricted, therefore you will have to park close to Termini railway station.

From the airports to the train station:
Roma Fiumicino Airport-Leonardo da Vinci FCA has a small 3 track train station from which you can either take the direct train to Roma Termini.

Roma Ciampino Airport
Take the airport shuttle (about every 30 minutes) to Anagnina, the first stop of the underground Metro line A. Get off at the Spagna or Barberini Stop.

From the train stations to Hotel Doge:
Roman Termini Station and Tiburtina Train Station are the 2 main stations in Rome. You can take a taxi, which shouldn't be too expensive. Bus tickets must be bought before getting on the bus.

From Roma Termini:
Take the subway line A in the direction of Battistini and get off at Spagna. The hotel is a few minutes' walk away.
Or by bus: coming out directly from the air terminal, cross the big square in front of the main entrance of the station, Piazza dei Cinquecento, take bus 175 in the direction of the centre for 4 stops. The stop is the one on Via Del Tritone.

Public transport system: the 75-minute ticket is valid on buses/trams/underground and can be bought at tobacco shops, newspaper kiosks and bars. Daily tickets are available, and use the same procedure (on sale only at the Transport System Booths, Roma Termini, the Coliseum Underground Stop and more) There is also a weekly ticket available.

A personal pick-up service can be arranged through the hotel on request.
