Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi still contains a reading room and a lounge which have remained the same for centuries... indeed, the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi is a listed building and subsequently is protected by the Italian arts council. Since its construction the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi has been the home of many important Roman Families - among which Giulio Rospigliosi who became Pope Clement IX in 1667. Constructed in the late 1500's the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi was commissioned by the rich aristocratic Roman family the Rospigliosi who lived here for more than 150 years. In that time many prominent Roman and Religious persons were guests within the 12 foot thick walls.

The 39 rooms of the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi Hotel are spacious, comfortable and well decorated, as well as very bright and entirely soundproofed. All rooms are equipped with all facilities such as en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, satellite colour television, telephone with direct outside line, mini-bar and safe deposit box. From most rooms guests may enjoy a suggestive view over the internal courtyard and from the other rooms over the peaceful garden, located to the rear or indeed a view of the Church St. Mary Major is also possible. All our rooms and bathrooms have been refurbished respecting the style and period of our hotel.

By train: walking distance from the Termini Railway Station, from there you have a good connection with all busses and underground lines. From Termini follow Via Cavour-Piazza Dell'Esquilino. Turn left in Via Liberiana, we are at number 21.
From Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport: train shuttle every 20 minutes to Termini Railway Central Station.
From Ciampino Airport: Bus + Train. A shuttle bus Cotral connects Ciampino Airport with Ciampino Station; every 15 minutes there is a train link with Termini Railway Station.
Alternatively, you can take the Terravision shuttle bus which drops you off in Via Marsala just a few minutes walk to our hotel.
