St. Vlas was founded during the 2nd century as the Thracian settlement Larisa, gaining its current name during 14th century. There have been 5 monasteries around the village.

St. Vlas is a great combination of sea and mountain scenery, so there is opportunity to use this hotel as a base from which to explore the local scene and take in the healthy natural attractions of St. Vlas.
