Each room is equipped with all modern comforts and is decorated in a Leccese style, enriched with at least one piece of antique furniture, designed 110 years ago for Palazzo Papaleo by Fratelli Piccinno.

The hotel is 10 metres from the main entrance of the Cathedral of Otranto and 50 metres from the Aragon Castle. The surrounding areas of interest are the San Pietro church near the Walls of the Old city and the nearby historical centre with its magic megalithic stones.

Otranto was considered a great treasure in the Mediterranean sea. For a long time it was at the mercy of every single naval power or portent sailor. Today it is possible to rediscover its Greek glory, Roman triumph, the courage of first Christians, Byzantium rests, Frederic II from Spain castles and the legend of the sieges from Turkish sailors. It is situated on the Eastern side of Italy, an area which manages to combine simple and strong values. It is a perfect spot for discovering some wonderful places, such as the megalithic stones hidden in the area, small villages from the earliest civilizations such as Méssapi, to the antic period of Greeks and Romans, the 'Barocco Leccese' around the city of Lecce named 'the Florence of South Italy', the famous Bay of Otranto and the spectacular coasts of Salento and its striking views.
