Each comfortable room is furnished in an alpine wood-style. Quadruple Rooms have Mansard roofs, with a large balcony and panoramic view.
Breakfast is served from 08:00-10:00. On request it is possible to have breakfast before or after the specified timetable, or to have it in your room. The hotel has bar and snack bar service open from 08:00-21:00. serving sandwiches, cold dishes of cheeses and local pork, ice cream, fruit, and yogurt. For the experts: a choice of local wines, brandy & beers. It is possible to stay on a half-board basis with officially agreed restaurants nearby or in the centre of Courmayeur (with a choice of local and international cuisine, pizzerias and a steak house).
The proximity of the Valleys Veny and Ferret offers many possibilities for outdoor activities, including: Alpine skiing; ski touring; golf; excursions; walks in the mountains; mountain biking; and rafting. You can also visit castles and vineyards, museums and monuments, and the nearby thermal centre. Photos:
Important information to reach the hotel: Due to a technical problem in some online travel maps and guides, we inform you that the only way to access by car is from the crossroad to La Saxe from the national road 26. Please do not enter in Courmayeur centre following directions for La Saxe. Do not take the road with indication Gran Baita Hotel*** (from national road 26). To easily reach the hotel, please follow these instructions: -Take the national road SS 26. -1 km after the round-about of Courmayeur, driving in direction of the Mont-Blanc Tunnel you will find the crossroads for La Saxe, take this. - Continue for 200 metres in the village, by the small road named "Strada La Montoux". - Once you arrive in the small square you will find the hotel and the car park.
Reception is closed from 22:00 - 08:00. For arrivals during closing time, the hotel kindly requests that you contact them prior to arrival. This ancient village has a road network which is poorly suited to modern cars; the size of the roads only allows driving at a walking pace (excluding big cars and 9 or 12 seater buses). Yet the hotel has an ample hotel parking. if you would rather not drive up to the hotel, there are 2 public parkings at 80 metres and 150 metrest. Please call the hotel for complete driving directions.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.
