Hotel Gambrinus is a 3-star hotel with exclusive family management, all rooms offer a view on the Amiata or on the Val d'Orcia untill the Radicofani medieval Rock. The hotel is situated at the entrance of the town of Abbadia San Salvatore at 1 km from the historical medieval centre. It is only 10 minutes from the sky resort of the Mount Amiata, in a panoramically area, part of the countryside of Siena.

The restaurant Gambrinus The Restaurant Gambrinus, located in the charming medieval village of Abbadia San Salvatore, half way up Mount Amiata, is waiting for you with its large and luminous dining room with an enchanting view on the Val d'Orcia until Radicofani. You will be delighted by our first dishes of the Amiata Tradition and soem of ours Chef's proposal , teh second dishes are good steaks of veal or beef from the maremma toscana, to taste with a good tuscany red wine that you cna choose from our wine menu. Abbadia San Salvatore is the largest town of Mount Amiata, surrounded by nature trails of extraordinary beauty and the thermal centres of Bagni San Filippo and Bagno Vignoni. Abbadia San Salvatore is only a few minutes from the Val d'Orcia, which boasts Pienza and Montalcino, Val di Chiana of Montepulciano (red wine), and Chianciano (baths) as well as the Etruscan area. DO NOT MISS THE TORCHLIGHT PARADE OF CHRISTMAS EVE. AMONG THE STREETS OF THE VILLAGE A BIG TORCHLIGHT WILL BURN ALL NIGHT LONG AND DURING NIGHT IT WILL BE ANIMATED BY THE INHABITANTS WITH SONGS, GRILLED SAUSAGES, COOKED DIRECTLY ON THE TORCH BURNING.GOOD WINE WILL BE OFFERED AT EVERY TORCHLIGHT BY THE CHIEF OF THE QUARTER.
