They are set just a 5 minute stroll from the main hotel building with the famous walks of Parknasilla entering from both north and south. The Villas are available for, 3, 5 & 7 night stays.

Sneem - The Gaelic word for "knot" is Sneem. Nowadays, the town of Sneem is called "The Knot in the Ring" (of Kerry). The town is set at the head of the Sneem estuary between Kenmare and Waterville. It is uncertain exactly when the town was established, but it is referenced on a map dated 1756. Today, Sneem is a peaceful and romantic little village offering unspoiled nature, fishing and a sheltered harbour at Oysterbed Pier. The town won the National Tidy Towns Award in 1987 and the National Landscape Award in 1997.

Ring of Kerry - This is one of the most popular activities in Kerry. A scenic drive of 110 miles of gorgeous coastal and mountain scenery, enveloping the towns of Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Caherciveen, Waterville, Sneem, Kenmare, and Killarney.

By Road
Parknasilla is located on the Ring of Kerry, when travelling from the Dublin/Limerick area follow directional signage to Killarney. From Killarney follow signs for Ring of Kerry, and Kenmare. The journey to Parknasilla from Killarney will take approximately an hour. At Molls Gap, there is a junction t junction, take the road to Sneem. From Sneem, the hotel is clearly signposted. If you need any additional information on getting to Parknasilla, pleas ask when booking and we would be happy to talk you through it.

Airports
Kerry Airport is 45 miles from Parknasilla and approximately a 1 hour 15 minute drive. The transfer takes you along part of the Ring of Kerry and through Ladies View, Molls Gap and past the famous Lakes of Killarney. From the airport follow signs for Killarney. From Killarney follow signs for Ring of Kerry, and Kenmare. The journey to Parknasilla from Killarney will take approximately an hour. At Molls Gap, there is a junction T junction, take the road to Sneem. From Sneem, the hotel is clearly signposted. Car hire can be arranged at Kerry Airport, or the hotel can arrange a taxi service to pick guests up.

Directions from Shannon Airport Shannon Airport is 115 miles from Parknasilla and approximately a two and a half hour drive from the hotel. To get to Parknasilla from Shannon, follow directional signage from the airport to Limerick. From Limerick follow signs for Tralee and Killarney. Follow signs for Killarney. From Killarney follow signs for Ring of Kerry, and Kenmare. The journey to Parknasilla from Killarney will take approximately an hour. At Molls Gap, there is a junction T junction, take the road to Sneem. From Sneem, the hotel is clearly signposted

Directions from Cork Airport Cork Airport is 80 miles from the hotel and a two-hour drive. On leaving the airport, take the first left on the roundabout at the exit. At the next roundabout (Kinsale Roundabout), take the exit marked N22, to Killarney/Kerry. After approximately an hour and a half, there is a turn off the N22 for Kenmare, take this turn and follow signposts to Kenmare. From Kenmare, go through the town and follow signs for Sneem. The hotel is on the road to Sneem, 14 miles from Kenmare.

Train
The closest train station to Parknasilla is at Killarney which is 31 miles from the hotel. There is a daily train service from Dublin, with links to Cork and Limerick and other major towns. A taxi collection service from the railway station can be organised by the hotel, for a cost of 50 euro return.
