The hotel is placed in one of the safest areas of Athens near the Concert Hall and the U.S. embassy with many cafes and restaurants nearby. The Acropolis, the shopping center and the Syntagma square are a 30 minutes walk from the hotel. Though you can use the bus (2 minutes walk, Mavili station) or the Subway (5 minutes walk, Megaro moussikis station), you will really enjoy walking on one of the safest and best preserved Avenues in Greece (Vassilisis Sofias) were some of the most important structures, monuments and Museums are located. Kolonaki area (the most up-to-date and trendy shopping centre) is just a 15 minutes walk. As walking on the Vassilisis Sofias Avenue, you turn right to Patriarchou Ioakeim str.

Stratos Vassilikos Hotel is about 40 minutes away by taxi from the Elefhterios Venizelos Airport and the fair costs approx. 18 euros. By car, take the Attiki odos motorway towards Elefsina and then take the exit No 10 (Marathonos - Mesogion) towards Athens. Then follow the Mesogion Avenue which turns to Michalakopoulou str. and after about 1 km you will find us on your left hand. Alternatively, take the Shuttle Bus number E95 from the Airport and get off at Mavili square. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk.
