In our tavern "Zur Schänke" we serve regional and Austrian specialities in a rustic atmosphere.

The beautiful and unique Fichtelgebirge mountains lie in an easily accessible location in the heart of Germany and offer natural diversity, largely off-limits to vehicles.

In the summer
The mountains are a paradise for those seeking relaxation and recreation amid unspoilt nature. Rather than mass tourism, you will find extensive pine forests with foot paths and hiking trails, swimming pools in the forest, folk evenings and excursions. Mountainbikers will appreciate the freeride tracks right outside our front door, which lead from Ochsenkopf to the varied MTB network of the Fichtelgebirge.

In the winter:
In terms of snowfall, Fleckl is the most reliable ski resort in the Fichtelgebirge mountains. At an altitude of 800 metres, it is the highest point in Warmensteinach and lies on the southern slopes of Mount Ochsenkopf. From here you can access the region's most attractive ski slopes without having to drive.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 14.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 0.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wired internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
