We are a friendly family-run hotel offering accommodation for tourists, business travellers and families.

In addition to the listed facilities, we offer you Vitalis 28 and an infra-red physio-therm cabin free of charge.

The restaurant will spoil you with fresh, regional cuisine and great views of lake Edersee. The hotel sources its ingredients from organic farmers and local suppliers whenever possible.

The chef is proud of his selected delicacies and regional specialities. Special dietary requirements can be catered to.

The terrace café offers a rich buffet of cakes from the hotel’s traditional pastry shop. In the afternoon, you can look forward to a tasty snack menu.

The restaurant and terrace are open for lunch from 12:00 until 14:00 and from 18:00 until 20:00 for dinner. A small menu is available from 20:00 until 21:30. The restaurant closes at 22.30.

Take a boat trip on the lake Edersee or go for a hike in the wildlife park. The Knorreichenstieg hiking path located 3 kilometres away leads you through the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park.

The "Waldecker Bergbahn" (mountain railway) takes you to Waldeck Castle, or you can take a cable car up to the reservoir and visit Europe's largest underground hydroelectric power station.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
