   Our hotel and restaurant Friedrichs is located in the resort town of Gemünd in the Schleidener Valley, the gate to the national park Eifel. It offers excellent transport links to nearby cities, such as Cologne, Bonn or Aachen. It is furthermore situated close to the border of Belgium.Look forward to relax in our sauna landscape, in the fitness area or on the sunbathing lawn in the garden. Wood – Water – Wilderness The picturesque village Gemünd in the valley of Schleiden is the entrance to the National Park Eifel. Discover multicoloured stream valleys, majestic beeches, wild canyons, steep rocks, ecologically valuable open-landscape and wild animals. The large lakes of Urft and Rur are embedded into the forests of the National Park. Guidance with expert information help you to experience and discover the nature. Many walkings you can do directly from the hotel.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One child under 5 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. One child from 5 to 12 years is charged EUR 9.50 per night in an extra bed. One older child or adult is charged EUR 19.50 per night in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included.
