For breakfast we serve home-made marmelade and cold meats produced from our own cattle stock. Our range of beverages is similarly regional: fruit juices, mineral water, Schnaps and Viez (apple wine) all stem from the local area. Photos:
The recognised health resort of Prüm with its healthy climate has approximately 6000 inhabitants and belongs to the German-Belgian Nature Park. The city is situated in a highland area and ranges from 430 to 590 metres above sea level. The highest point of the "Schneifel" mountains, the 700-metre high “Schwarze Mann”, lies just 15 kilometres away. Together with the nearby “Wolfsschlucht”, this is one of the most popular winter sports areas of the Eifel region. Whatever the season, well-maintained hiking paths invite you to go for refreshing, varied walks.
By prior arrangement, pets are admitted at a surcharge of EUR 4 per day. On request, a shuttle service to and from the Gerolstein railway station is available at a surcharge of EUR 25. From 30 October 2008 until 02 November 2008, room reservations include one tasty menu. Please note that the reception is closed on Thursdays. Kindly indicate your time of arrival in advance.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
