The hotel’s grand mansion was built around 1880 and is characteristic of the beautiful architecture that adorns Potsdam. The new building was built in 1996. The hotel houses 6 function rooms, suitable for meetings and conferences, ranging in size from 22 m² to 244 m². The hotel’s wellness centre can arrange massages on request. Dutch Quarter (20 metres) – in the early eighteenth century 150 houses were built out of red brick in Dutch style to accommodate Dutch craftsmen. Today the Dutch quarter is one of Potsdam’s most visited districts. Entrance to Park Sanssouci (1.8 km) – don’t miss the Chinese House in this beautifully landscaped park. Babelsberg Castle (3.0 km) – see the neo-gothic palace built by Schinkel.
From Berlin Tegel (TXL) airport: Take the S25 S-Bahn (city rail) line for Teltow Stadt. Descend at the Friedrichstraße stop. Take the RE1 regional train for Magdeburg. Descend at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main railway station). From Potsdam central train station: Expect modest taxi fares for the journey, covering approximately 1km. The hotel has 40 parking places (fees are applied).
