In our new vitality area (700 m²) you can experience deep relaxation and pleasure in an exclusive, attractive setting. The centrepiece is our large swimming pool with counter-current area, massage showers and whirlpool. Heated to a pleasant 28 °C, you can swim numerous lengths in the morning sunshine and relax on our welcoming outdoor terrace or at our wellness bar. Our sauna area is a paradise for relaxation, for improving circulation and for strengthening the immune system. A variety of saunas and steam baths offer healthy alternation between hot and cold. Scents, lights and music enhance your experience.

A variety of beauty and massage treatments, ranging from classic therapies through to Ayurveda treatments and natural cosmetics, achieve a harmonious balance between physical and mental well-being.

In addition, our hotel offers a wide variety of events concerning art, culture and literature. Readings and book presentations of our own reading circle as well as classic concerts and exhibitions are hosted at the hotel, and offer a balanced selection of entertainment for our culturally ambitious guests.

We also offer 2 conference rooms, which can be converted to one large room if required. These rooms benefit from plenty of natural daylight and can also be completely darkened if required. Wooden floors, warm colour tones and high quality, comfortable furniture create a special atmosphere for your conference or meeting. The rooms are equipped with ergonomically designed chairs and desks, a special silent ventilation system and pleasant non-dazzling lighting which prevents drowsiness.

When dining in this restaurant of an evening, our unobtrusive and friendly service combined with our fine wines and the innovative ideas of our head chef will create a special culinary experience. Different wine lists according to country and weekly specials are among the gastronomical highlights in Binz.

Due to its exclusively regional cuisine and its relaxed atmosphere, this speciality restaurant is one of the island's most popular fish restaurants, frequented by guests and locals alike. In the hotel "Strandhotel Lissek", situated directly on the beach in Binz, freshly caught fish is served in a typical seaside ambience. There is of course also a selection of dishes for guests who do not eat fish.

The new, light-flooded buffet restaurant over the rooftops of Binz. Uncomplicated, cosy and with a large sun terrace. Fresh, quality meals are available throughout the day. "Guten Appetit!"

Our small but sweet library offers a variety of materials for you to read and rummage through: carefully selected titles, books on the cultural history of food and drink, information on the island, and classical and contemporary literature. Binz, first recorded in 1318 as a fishing village named "Byntze", is the largest seaside resort on the island of Rügen. It is located in one of the most enchanting bays of the island, the Prorer Wiek. Surrounded by the vast forests of the Schmale Heide and the Granitz, the town nestles between the reed-covered banks of lake Schmachter See in the West, and the Baltic Sea to the East.

Binz offers a mild, stimulating climate with 1,872 hours of sunshine per year. The sheltered location, the wide sandy beach, the pebble-free seabed and the gentle tide make Binz a popular bathing paradise.

Unlike any other seaside resort, Binz distinguishes itself through its seaside-style architecture. The jaunty patterns and rosettes on the villas, the turrets and the gazebos have all become synonymous with Binz. From many of these original splendid buildings, hotels and guesthouses have emerged, combining the spirit of the turn of the century (19th - 20th) with comfortable guest rooms. Laid out like a string of pearls, the 3.2 kilometre promenade invites you to go for walks or to sit and relax. At the centre of the promenade you will find spa baths, a concert area with a pavilion, pergolas, a pump room and the pier.

Binz is located in the east of the island of Rügen in the beautiful bay of Prora. Coming from Berlin, you can reach Rügen via the A19 motorway, while from Hamburg you can reach it via the A20.

It takes approximately 4 hours to reach the island from Berlin, and 3.5 hours from Hamburg.

You can reach the island from Stralsund via the Rügendamm bridge, and during the summer months you can also arrive from east of Stralsund via the Stahlbrode - Glewitz ferry.

The roads are well-built in Rügen, but please note that traffic congestion can occur during high season.

During the summer months, the Deutsche Bahn rail network operates a motorail train to Sassnitz and a daily sleeper train to Binz from several German cities.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 44.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 2.10 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 4.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 5.00 per day.
