Our Bavarian cuisine makes use of produce from our private butcher’s, which has won several national and international awards and ranks among Germany’s 500 best butcher’s according to the gourmet magazine "Der Feinschmecker". There is plenty to keep you occupied here, whether you are seeking an active holiday or wish to visit the region’s sights and cultural attractions. Numerous cycle paths and mountain biking tracks lead through the meadows and woods of the Bavarian Forest. Discover the area’s beauty by going for a long hike or by Nordic walking. There are several attractive golf courses in the area. Within a radius of 10-20 kilometres you find wonderful winter sports resorts, such as the Arber area, Geißkopf, Pröller and Silberberg. Numerous well-prepared cross-country ski runs and hiking trails take you through snowy scenery and transport you to a world of romance and tranquility. Attractive day trip destinations include the Weißenstein castle ruins, Metten Abbey, the Großer Pfahl quartz vein, and several glassworks where you can gain an insight into the fascinating and complex art of glassmaking.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
