Helmstadt is situated on the Franconian Plateau, surrounded by fields and forests. Despite its quiet location in the Franconian wine-growing region, our hotel offers good links to the A3 and A81 motorways and lies just 5 kilometres from the motorway exit "Helmstadt".

Helmstadt is a good base from which to make excursions and tours. The towns of Würzburg (with the Residenz and the Marienberg fortress) and Wertheim (with its famous outlet shopping centre and historical Old Town) each lie approximately 16 kilometres away. Day trips to Veitshöchheim, Karlstadt, Lohr and Marktheidenfeld are also recommended.

Arriving from the A3 motorway (Nuremberg-Frankfurt):
- Take exit number 67 (Helmstadt/Uettingen) (Helmstadt is 5 km from here)

Arriving from the B8 (Würzburg-Markt-heidenfeld):
- Between Uettingen und Waldbüttelbrunn, take the turn-off leading to Helmstadt (Helmstadt is 6 km from here)

- The hotel is located at the town's entrance, on the right-hand side
